A web-based, medication monitoring service is seeking part-time pharmacist support in writing safety communications and medicine question and answers aimed at a consumer audience. 

The position will be on a contract basis and involve the following:

• re-writing safety alerts and recall communications from medicine regulating agencies in manner appropriate for consumers,
• writing 3 to 5 summaries of recent findings in the medical literature,
• writing 10 to 15 medicine question and answer segments, and
• uploading communications into a web-based tool for distribution to consumers. Experience in writing for consumer audience preferred. Approximately 3 to 5 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing, interpersonal, organization skills - Familiarity with healthcare systems and International brand and generic names of medicines - At least 2 years clinical experience preferred
• Able to edit medical terminology and advanced concepts into plain language - Highly motivated, can work independently, detail oriented, and flexible - Comfortable communicating directly with US-based staff
• Excellent internet skills and a desire to work in an online environment
• Reliable access to a high-speed internet connection
